Dear families, I am currently living in the Bay of Plenty, and available from December to February for various kind of services: I feel comfortable with tutoring children and young students in languages, literature, history, geography and philosophy, I have also good experience in being a casual nanny, and I would also like to support elder people. I am French native, with an education background in languages (French/English/Spanish), literature, human sciences, and web multilingual communication (Master degree). I have studied one year in Spain (Sevilla), and worked two years in Czech Republic (Prague) as a Project executive in a Marketing agency. Since my 18 yo, I have spent the Summer holidays working (in a supermarket, in a bakery, as a postwoman), and I have looked after children some days and nights (from 6 months to 12 yo). I have also done a 3-month working holidays visa in Australia (mainly Lennox Head, NSW), where I worked as a kitchen hand and also looked after children casually. Recently, I have given French lessons to an Australian dad and a Ukrainian professional, both beginners. And lately, I was working in a kiwi factory in Te Puke, which I am planning to continue from February to June. Note that I am a dedicated person, with a sense of integrity and responsibility, a strong desire to help the international community and to create great memories with people. I am organised, serious and flexible in terms of adaptation. I am also a fast-learner, so I am keen to engage in new tasks or practices. I would be glad to meet you and discuss it all together. Childcare Experience
When I was 10 yo my mom gave birth to my half-sister, so I looked after her as a second mom, while my mom was single and working everyday. Since I was 18yo I looked after children on a casual basis, during the weekends or holidays, nights and days, from the age of 6 months to 12yo. Most of them were French native, while I also looked after two Australian children during my Working holidays visa in Lennox Head. I like playing with youngers, taking care of them with safe practices, and tutoring them as well with school assignments or language lessons. I am patient and I adapt to the level of everyone, finding ways to make them understand while enjoying the process of learning, or finding ways to make them have fun in a responsible way. I love the idea of sharing and helping each other grow in our own way.
Tutoring Experience
I have tutored a French student of 11yo in Spain, helping with French, English, Spanish courses. I have tutored an Australian dad and a Ukrainian professional with French lessons (beginner level). I have tutored my little sister for French, English, Spanish, History and Geography courses. I studied in the French university in degrees that could lead to teaching diplomas, but I continued in Project management in the advertising industry instead. My dad and brother are history and geography teachers, and in my family there are also English and French teachers, for which I was always surrounded by professionals and felt familiar with this environment. I love communication, sharing knowledge, and I enjoy both learning and teaching. I think it could be an interesting career to consider for my future.
