Kia ora, my name is Maisie and I am an energetic, empathetic and trustworthy 19 year old. I am currently in my second year of study towards a Honours degree in Speech and Language Pathology at Canterbury University. I have experience working in holiday, after school and before school programmes. As well as babysitting all through out high school, with six years experience now. I am originally from sunny Nelson. I always put 100% into whatever I am doing academically, socially or in terms of working. I had multiple leadership rolls during high school, involving working with younger students and helping run and lead sports games, helping with academic support and also working within the Special needs department helping the students to excel in all their areas of learning. I am a social and talkative person, which helps me to understand each child and their different personalities. I have grown up surrounded by family with careers in the education sector, so I have plenty of experience with all children. I am looking for a part time babysitting or nannying job to work alongside my studies. Wether this is picking your children up from school, taking them to sports games, helping with homework, helping around the house or looking after your children so you can have a night out. I enjoy getting outdoors, and love being active. I would be available (preferably afternoons and some evenings/ weekends). Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I have tutored friends and family, throughout high school. I love english, biology and social sciences. But also am able to help out with maths and sciences. My family is filled with people who work in the education sector so I have gained a lot of knowledge through them. I was taught through NCEA at my high school. I also studied French until year 12 so I know the basics of this subject. I took extended english and geography in my senior years.
