Hi, I’m Ravindran Alexander, originally from India and currently pursuing my Master’s in Mechanical Engineering here in New Zealand. I offer Maths and Physics tutoring for school students, diploma learners, and mechanical engineering students. I enjoy helping others understand complex topics in a simple, relatable way. In my free time, I’m also happy to assist with childcare or elderly support as a casual or part-time role. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy making a positive difference in people’s lives. Looking forward to connecting with families and students in the community!

Childcare Experience
I have hands-on experience caring for young children, including feeding babies, helping them settle to sleep, and supporting toddlers with walking and movement. I enjoy playing brain games that stimulate curiosity and learning, and I gently encourage good habits through everyday routines. I also assist with bathing, and make sure children feel safe, clean, and comfortable. Most importantly, I focus on engaging them through play and conversation, so they feel happy and never bored. I bring patience, warmth, and a genuine love for helping children grow in a positive environment.
Tutoring Experience
I have several years of tutoring experience, starting with home tuition during my Bachelor's degree in India. I’ve taught school students and polytechnic learners, focusing on building strong foundations in Maths and Physics. Now, as a Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering, I continue to offer support in Mathematics, Physics, and Mechanical Engineering subjects at both diploma and undergraduate levels. I’m passionate about making complex concepts easy to understand and helping students gain confidence in their learning.
