Hi mum & dad! I’m the eldest of three sisters and have plenty of experience caring for little ones - from babysitting babies back in the UK to entertaining friends’ kids here in New Zealand. I also love getting creative with children and have taught poi at kids’ workshops. I also hold a degree in English Language and Linguistics, which helps me support younger children with their language development. I was a competitor swimmer for 14 years and got to national standard before university - more than happy to host swimming lessons and as a musician, I’d be happy to share my love of singing and teach it to the best of my ability! I have a clean record and I’m happy to provide NZ references if needed!
I’ve helped raise a friend’s child in the first few years of development and have experience supporting children with reading in the earlier stages. While my recent career in sales created a gap in childcare work, I bring several years of hands-on experience and a natural ease with kids. I'm comfortable working with all age groups and am happy to support children with special needs. I find working with kids incredibly rewarding - there’s something truly special about building meaningful bonds and sharing creativity together.
I have a bachelors in English Language and Linguistics. I received a merit in my Grade 8 singing exam and I’ve been singing since I was around 4 years of age. I have 14 years experience in competitive swimming and I’ve previously completed a life saving course in the UK.
