Hi There! I am originally from Northland but moved to Auckland 4 years ago to study. I have finished my degree in Paramedicine and work full time in the ambulance. I love working with kids and have mentored/coached/tutored in many different sports and academic areas. Looking to help out where I can, and get along with all ages!
I babysit my cousins for the last 4 years as well as coaching different sports for kids from years 3-10 throughout high school. As a prefect at my high school we had a year level mine being year 8 that we were really involved with tutoring etc. if I wasn’t studying to become a Paramedic my next choice was teaching, it’s something I really enjoy and have always been involved with!
I tutored while I was in High School with year 7/8 reading and English. I’m really passionate with science and excel in biology (not physics)! I held classes during lunchtime for year 8 students to help with their homework whilst being a prefect which went really well. I coached year 7-10 netball as well as coaching junior umpires and running school holiday netball programmes. I am qualified in first aid as I am a 2nd year paramedic student and almost qualified Emergency Medical Technician on the ambulance which is my biggest passion. I help the new ambulance officers in learning their skills so have valued communication skills in most age aspects.
