Hey guys! I’m a second-year Medical student, looking to go into paediatrics, and am super passionate about childcare! While extent of my childcare experience is taking care of my nephew (I adore him so much but unfortunately he lives in India), I consider myself reliable, attentive, and popular with kids, so hopefully I’d be the perfect pick to take care of yours! Thank you so much for your time and I hope to work with you soon!
Unfortunately I haven’t had too much experience taking care of children in a home setting, other than my nephew who lives in India. However, I have volunteered for organisations like Teddy Bear Hospital before, which required me to spend time with children at kindergarten, and teach them about what doctors do, to make them feel more comfortable around doctors! However I still believe I’d be a great pick, as I am responsible and super friendly, and will definitely learn more about the job along the way as I go! I have no preference for age group at all :)
I haven’t done paid home tutoring before, but have definitely worked with younger students in the past, helping them through NCEA. I graduated with an Excellence endorsement at all three levels of NCEA, and am very confident in my skills to do with basic facts, reading and comprehension, and even typing! If it suits I’d be happy to do one unpaid, observed session to see if I’m a good fit for the parents/child :)
