Hi everyone, I’m in my last year of uni training to be a primary school teacher. I work part time at Kip McGrath so have experience tutoring kids in primary school. I have a lot of experience with children from babysitting, volunteer work and university. I’m passionate about what I do and love working with children of all ages.
I have a lot of experience working with children ranging from babysitting, volunteer work, coaching sports teams, tutoring at Kip McGrath and studying primary teaching at university. I have gained work experience at 4 different schools around east Auckland and volunteered at a kindergarten centre in howick. I have also coached sports teams like netball and touch. I love and feel confident working with children of all ages. I am currently in my third and final year of studying primary school teaching and have gained a lot of knowledge and confidence around children. I have worked in classrooms over the past three years consisting of all ages between year 0-8.
I currently work at Kip McGrath for the past 3 years. I work with the ages 5-13. I am currently in my final year studying to be a primary school teaching at university. Over the years of my study I have gained knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and understand where students should be based on there age. I have experienced being in a classroom of all different ages which has given me the practical experience and increased my confidence and ability to teach children with a range of different needs and learning styles.
