Kia Ora! My names grace and I have been an early childhood teacher/nanny for the past 10 years and Social Worker for 3 years. I’m passionate about childrens learning and value the importance of relationships, the environment and experiences. Through my interactions I create a space where children feel empower, loved and nurtured to be themselves. I have travelled a lot and am also interested in yoga, healthy food, mindfulness, I speak a little bit of Maori and am learning French. I am currently looking for babysitting work after 6pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends! I am based in Ponsonby but happy to travel. I have my full licence. Childcare Experience
I have had 10 years experience working with new born babies to 10 years old. I am passionate about children learning through experiences and base my practices on child-directed Learning so they feel lives, empowered and nurtured. I have had special sleep training to help parents with getting their children into a good sleep pattern, behaviour management training, learnt about different philosophies of teaching, health and wellbeing awareness, I am aware of the developmental stages of children’s growth and have worked with children with disabilities.
