I’m currently New Zealand on working holiday. During my 5-week homestay, I cared for a 3-year-old child, playing, singing, and helping with meals while the parents worked in the house. Now, I help look after my flatmate’s 4-month-old baby. In Japan, I often cared for my friend’s -and 4-year-old children. I love spending time with kids and seeing their happy smiles and their parents feeling relaxed and at ease.
I have been looking after children for about one year, both in Japan and here in New Zealand. During my homestay, I cared for a 3-year-old child, playing, singing, and helping with meals while the parents worked in the house. Now, I help look after my flatmate’s 4-month-old baby. I am most comfortable with toddlers and preschoolers, as I enjoy watching them learn and grow every day. What I find most rewarding about is childcare is seeing children happy and their parents feeling relaxed and at ease.
