Hello lovely people, I am an Australian currently living in Christchurch. My background is in Outdoor Education and working with students as young as preschool to yr 12 in the Outdoors. I have done this for 5 years post bachelor degree. Before this my work experience has been retail, hospitality and babysitting. Working with people comes naturally and is a big passion of mine. I am currently living in NZ to achieve some personal outdoors growth and goals but I am hoping to stay in touch with working with others- in particular children as this is where my work passion lies. Childcare Experience
I have been taking on babysitting roles for over 10 years now. However, the bulk of my experience has been in the last 5 years as I run outdoor education programs with school students. This involves not only being an educator for caring for the students wellbeing and safety in high risk activities and overnights for 5-30 days. Most of my experience and therefore comfortability lies in children upwards of 4 years old. However, I am definitely open to younger ages and would pick up all the extra needs in a heart beat.
