Hello! My names Hazel. I am creative, kind and compassionate and enjoy helping others. I am a solo mum to one 1.5 year old. I am looking for work where I can bring my child along with me. I am a qualified peer support worker. I have previously worked within the disability field and mental health. I have a special interest in non verbal communication. I have prior nannying and babysitting experience with children aged newborn-16 years old. I'm comfortable and confident with all aspects of childcare. Being a mother and thriving in that role has given me a plethora of knowledge of how to navigate my own child's wellbeing. My parenting approach is gentle parenting inspired along with being in tune with my child's cues. I'm good at following routines and I'm an effective problem solver so no task is too big or small! I love positively contributing to the world around me and making parents lives easier! I love the outdoors, exploring, messy play, arts and crafts. I will eagerly and happily organize your house/clean if wanted! In my free time I create art and write. You'll often find me in a coffee shop journaling and painting while my child plays, or we are outdoors exploringnature! I also have a cat and have in the past fostered for a rescues-I adore animals. Important things to me are effective communication, compassion, mindfulness, empathy and fun. Looking forward to meeting you!
