Hiya, I am originally from the uk and grew up in a big, close family in Surrey. I have lived in New Zealand for about 8 years now with a bit of time away travelling here and there. I’m looking for some casual babysitting - weeknights or weekends as I work full time. I am a qualified primary school teacher and have worked with children in some capacity for about 15 years. I was an au pair in Auckland for 3 children aged between 18m and 5, I stayed with them for a couple of years and still babysit for them now. I have experience with babies and was a nanny for a few of months in the UK for a 2 month old, her 8 year old brother and at the same time for an 18 month old on other days. I also have newborn experience. I have my baby, child and adult first aid and keep up with my certificates to ensure they’re up to date.

Special Needs Experience
As a teacher I undertook various training courses to help children with special educational needs. I also worked closely with 2 children in my class who had ASD.
Childcare Experience
I have been working with children for over 15 years. I have worked with children from newborns to 14. I have been a babysitter, an au pair, a teacher and also ran a summer camp.
